... joints was probably pretty mangled & full of dirt & debris - infection city. remember barbaro, he was well on his way to recovery, until laminitis set in. like the joints, the equine hoof operates well normally, but when injured, things can get really bad, quickly. veterinary science has come a long way in helping these animals recover, but sometimes, the injuries are still just too great.

If at any time your dog begins to vomit, experience bloody stool, and/or acts lethargic, a veterinary visit would be necessary. I truly don't think you'll have a problem, but those are the warning signs to look for just in case. Then this one... processed meats are not good for dog's digestive ...

Its so competitive I know, to get into a vet school these days. If you wanted to go into the US army veterinary corps to take care of the government owned animals, would you automatically get into a military veterinary school?

I'm confused, are you interested in the veterinary field, or the law enforcement field? The Army runs the veterinarian program for the entire military, so it would make more sense to join up with them if you want to be a vet tech. If you are really interested in a USMC "SWAT" team, check out their FAST (fleet anti-terrorism security team) companies.
